Launch of new furniture series
NEW FURNITURE SERIES FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY
For the first time, OYOY Living Design presents a furniture series as a part of the newly launched AW20 collection. The design is simple, and the concept is the same throughout the series - for adults and for children. The furniture is produced in Europe and will be delivered flat packed.
The furniture is made of solid oak. The craftsmanship and details are based on Danish design traditions. The simple design fits into any home and can easily be combined with the home's existing furniture.
About the new furniture series, designer and founder of OYOY Living Design, Lotte Fynboe, says: " OYOY Living Design's products are often characterized as 'playful' with colors and shapes, but this series is almost discreet in its expression. The furniture is easy to place and style in the home where the family lives and creates memories ".
The idea behind and launch of a furniture series is based on inquiries from retailers and customers. For a long time, it has been OYOY Living Design’s wish, to be able to furnish most rooms in the home exclusively with OYOY products, in order to create a complete design universe. This is the first step on the way to fulfill that wish, which is why the upcoming collections will include more furniture.
The furniture series consists of Kotai Bench, Lojo Shelf and OY Coffee Table, which comes in two sizes. In the children's series, the Arca set consists of: A bench, a chair and a table.
THE ARCA FURNITURE IS FOR THE CHILDREN IN THE FAMILY
The Arca furniture will remind you of designs from the childhood. These memories are the inspiration for the design.
Products with a classic and simple design are popular in the children's room, as it has a longer lifespan because of the simple and timeless expression. Based on these principles, the furniture can be passed down through generations.
A BRAND FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY
With the idea of being a brand for the whole family, it’s important to create designs that can be used by everyone in the family and in the different rooms of the home. An example might be that the children's furniture is so classic that the adults would like to use it in their rooms too. The small Arca bench can be used in the living room, just as the Lojo shelf can be used both in the living and the children's room.
The Arca Chair is another example of this. The small chair is ideal in the children's room but is designed for several purposes. It can also be used as a bedside table or as a stool in the kitchen.
The details and functions of the furniture are weighted equally in the design process. The vision is to create classic design that lasts for many years. Design for the whole family.
